Swiss market lead Facility Manager, (M/W) 100%

Our client manages several hundred million of square feet for corporate, institutional, not-for-profit and government space users around the world. As a major actor on the international Facility Management scene, they apply their knowledge, technology, procurement leverage and processes which enable their people to customize their delivery of services to any client’s culture and create a competitive advantage for the client. For their Swiss organization, they are seeking an experienced professional for the position of Swiss market lead Facility Manager.

 

Job scope

The Swiss market Facility Manager will manage and coordinate the delivery of all Facilities Management services for a major Swiss account. Amongst various duties he will ensure the overall performance of contractors and required deliverables including: contract compliance, performance management against KPI’s, cost saving initiatives and customer satisfaction. With the support of his site Facility Managers he will ensure the successful implementation of portfolio-wide initiatives and internal programs including: savings program, energy program, HSSE, playbooks, training and development and succession planning. He will have to establish effective business relationships with the customer and to interact with the client staff at all levels and where possible, be responsive to their needs. Moreover he will be in charge to oversee the health, safety, security and environmental aspects for the delivery of facilities management in the country, liaising with global HSSE specialists. You will have a strategic overview of procurement activities, ensuring best practice, competitive pricing and development of strategic supplier relationships and proactive delivery of services. The job is based is Vevey and mobility throughout Switzerland will be required.

 

Your characteristics

You have at least a 10 year track record in Facilities management, ideally with cross-functional real estate experience in an outsourced environment. You demonstrate strong leadership qualities to drive the performance across an expanding business team. You are known to have strong analytical and a problem solving approach applying value creation/innovation across FM services/supply chain. You are at ease with the review and analysis of complex financial reports and business data and generate innovative solutions and corrective action plans. You are client focused and have excellent client service skills. You are able to think and act strategically, have experience in driving and closing out operational change and have a good financial acumen, You’re fluent in German and/or French with excellent conversational skills in the other language. You are fluent in English and computer literate. Experience in a factory environment and a strong technical background would be a definite asset.
